 Steve Kuiper, CPA Steve Kuiper is the founder of Business Navigator LLC. He is a CPA, and holds an MBA from the University of Central Florida. In the 20 years prior to founding Business Navigator, he served as the CFO or Controller of businesses in a variety of industries, including construction, engineering, restaurants, advertising, and non-profit. Prior to becoming a CPA, Steve worked for several years as a programmer and as an IT consultant, helping companies implement accounting software.
Steve’s strengths lie in developing effective and efficient accounting systems, business planning and modeling, and providing businesses with meaningful management information. A Microsoft Certified Professional, he has a strong background with accounting systems. Steve prides himself on finding ways to provide management information for informed decision making. An active participant in professional and civic organizations, Steve has served as Accounting Shows Committee chairman for the Florida Institute of CPA’s, as a board member of the Construction Financial Management Association, and as an adjunct Professor of Accounting at Valencia Community College. He was recognized by the Florida Jaycees as an Outstanding Local Chapter President, and has served as Treasurer of the Maitland Center Rotary and the Private Business Association of Seminole. Steve lives in Lake Mary with his wife Virginia and son Tom. He enjoys water sports in his spare time, and says his favorite water sports are sailing, skin diving, and golf … And yes, although he’s let it expire, he did once earn a Merchant Marine Captain’s License, and is quite a good navigator, thank you very much! |
